Barry's Head Trip Report by Yasmin

My name is Yasmin and I am a Junior Lead in the Cork Youth Climbing Club. On Monday the 4th of June my dad and I decided to go climbing on Barry's Head. It was lovely day for climbing. It was nice and warm with a cool breeze.

My dad and I walked down to Barry's Head and we set up the anchors. The first climb was a Diff (Difficult) I did that twice. My third was
seconding a VDiff (Very Difficult) trad climb. I did that twice. The 5th and 6th climbs were HS (Hard Severe).

After my last climb we then started to take down the anchors. I ate some maltesers and we headed down the hill. We got home and headed into Kinsale to get an ice-cream. It was a great climbing day.
