The CYCC has an active climbing exchange program and is already working with Sean Villanueva O'Driscoll to faciliate a Belgium - Irish climbing program this summer. By fostering strong partnerships with like minded climbing organizations around the world we believe that we will be able to develop our members climbing and life skills.

We were delighted recently when Severine Roy from Grenoble, France got in touch regarding the program and volunteered to attend one of our training sessions Cork's Mardyke Arena.  Severine is a qualified climbing instructor and teaches climbing to children, teenagers and adults in the Grenoble area. She is a strong advocate of climbing exchanges and has already lead a team of young French climbers on a trip to Mali where they climbed with young local climbers.

Severine got involved straight away in the training session assisting Senior and Junior Leads in various exercises throughout the evening.

Severine and CYCC head coach Paul Innes supervise J/L lead climbing practice.

Many thanks to Severine for attending our coaching session and we look forward to keeping in contact with her!
