Youth Trad Climbing Workshops

Mountaineering Ireland's Youth Development Officer Paul Swail had organised a number of day workshops for young club members and individuals. These workshops are aimed at looking at type of climbing we have in Ireland – traditional climbing and the placing of traditional anchors, setting up belays and management of the rope and other people along with climbing!

The workshops are going to take place in Dalkey, Wicklow, The Mournes and Fair Head. These workshops are open to club members and individuals between the ages of 12 - 17 and must have the ability to lead confidently at the grade of 6a indoors.
