Cork Youth Climbing Club

About Our Club

The primary role of the club is to develop climbing in Ireland, produce climbers that can safely take part and enjoy the great sport of outdoor rock climbing. Remember that indoor climbing is only a means to an end, a tool we use to develop the necessary skills & fitness to climb outdoors. Participation in competitions such as the Youth Climbing Series will also be a focal point each year for our efforts. To date our club has performed with distinction in all competitions.

We are a club affiliated to Mountaineering Ireland and enjoy the considerable backing of Awesome Walls Cork and its awesome staff.

The club is open to climbers between the ages of 7 to 18 years of age.
